Dear Valued Customer,

We're reaching out to inform you about upcoming changes to our SONiC service support schedule. As a registered customer who has purchased our services, please review this important information.
 

What This Means For You?

• Your software will continue to function - EOL affects service support, not your ability to use the software. Your existing installations will continue to operate.
• No immediate action required if your system is stable - if your current version meets your needs, you can continue using it without disruption.
• Migration options are available - if you wish to upgrade, we recommend SONiC 202311.4 (available September 2025) as the migration path from 202111 or 202211 versions.
• Test before upgrading - while all new versions undergo thorough regression testing, we strongly recommend conducting a Proof of Concept (PoC) in your specific environment before upgrading.
• Special support needs? - if your implementation requires special consideration, please inform us before October 31, 2025.

Your SONiC Options
For customers interested in customization:

• SONiC 202311.X pure play version is available through Edgecore GitHub repository
  https://github.com/edge-core/sonic-buildimage

For existing subscription customers:

• SONiC 202311.3 is currently available
• SONiC 202311.4 will be released in September 2025.
