Connecting the Computer to the Management (MGMT) Port
- If the switch does not have internet access, the computer running AeroAdmin must be directly connected to the switch's MGMT port.
- If the switch has internet access, connection via the management port is not necessary.
Step 1: Download AeroAdmin
- Go to www.aeroadmin.com.
- Click the "Download AeroAdmin" button to download the executable file.
- Once downloaded, open the file AeroAdmin.exe (no installation required).
Step 2: Sharing Computer Access
- After launching the program, you will see the "Allow remote control" section.
- Your unique identification number will be displayed under "Your ID".
- The required PIN code will be shown under "PIN".
- Share your ID and PIN with the person who will connect to your computer.
Step 3: Granting Connection Permission
- When the remote user enters your ID and PIN, a request window will appear.
- Click "Accept" to allow the connection.
