How to install SmartCLAI?

Introduction

Welcome to the SmartCLAI Installation Guide!

This article describes step-by-step instructions for installing and launching SmartCLAI on supported operating systems. Please check system requirements and follow the instructions for your platform (Linux or Windows).

 

System Requirements

  • Operating System: Linux and Windows (Mac will work soon)
  • CPU: Dual-core processor or higher
  • RAM: 2 GB minimum
  • Disk Space: 2 or more GB free space

Download SmartCLAi Installer

Please download Windows/Linux installer from link below:
https://smartclai.stordis.com/downloads

Linux Installation

1.1 Installation

  1. Download the smartclai-1.0.0.deb from Our SmartCLAI portal.

  2. Open a terminal and navigate to the folder containing smartclai-1.0.0.deb (cd path/to/your/folder).

  3. Run the following command:
    sudo apt install ./smartclai-1.0.0.deb

    Then You will be asked to Accept Terms and Conditions

1.2 Launching the Application

After installation, launch the application by running:

smartclai

You will be asked to provide STORDIS API Key that can be generated at our site:

You will be also asked to provide additional LLM_API_Key In case You don't currently have one You can always do it later using:

smartclai setting

Windows Installation

2.1 Installation

  1. Download the Windows installer from Our SmartCLAI portal.
  2. Double-click the file and follow the installation prompts.

2.2 Launching the Application

  • Open the Start menu and search for "SmartCLAI", or

  • Double-click the desktop shortcut (if available).

Interactive Shortcuts

  • Ctrl + K – Clear the screen at any prompt
  • Ctrl + L – Logout or Cancel
  • Ctrl + R – Forget the stored API key and restart the key wizard

Installation Notes

  • Administrator privileges may be required during installation, especially on Windows or protected Linux directories.
  • After the initial setup and API key entry, the application will remember your key until reset (Ctrl + R).
  • If you encounter issues, verify your system meets the minimum requirements and consult SmartCL_AI documentation or STORDIS support.
